>>>Reviewing all the pieces of Sedna and VFPx, it looks like the only possibility where Vista compatibility will be added to the core product is VFP9 SP2. I have read about some Vista compatibility issues in Doug Hennig's and Rick Strahl's blogs. So can we can expect that the eventual golden SP2 will provide complete Vista compatibility for VFP 9? If not, it seems that one of the major goals of Sedna will not be realized.

>>Vista compatibility is a big goal for Sedna/SP2. YAG made clear to us that they need us testing with Vista. I know several of us who weren't really planning to install Vista any time soon left convinced that we need to do it so we can help.

>>Everyone here using Vista is strongly encouraged to post VFP/Vista problems on the Connect site so they can be fixed.

If you turn off some of the advanced features, such as Aero, it doesn't that *that* powerful of a machine to run. I know this stigma attaches itself to Vista, and it is true in some cases, but you also have to figure the (can't think of the word...) natural normal PC advances into the equation.
