It is a debatable point. If MS would be allowed to discontinue support for future OS, and give half-hearted (i.e. not actual) support for Vista, then it would be very difficult to convince a client that some new system should be done in VFP.
There are many government agencies around that use Foxpro applications. I wonder if they can exert any pressure on MS to provide VFP compatibility for future OS versions. It might happen that some state general attorneys may look at the problem.
