However, the config.fpw and the foxuser.dbf must be ok because I can access those same files from the network from my laptop. There may be something wrong with the client install that was done.
If you do have Config.fpw on network drive, then just check it may contain:
RESOURCE=.... and if it points to FPW2.6 config.fpw file then it might be a problem. Also, the app itself can contain some hardcoded path (SEYT RESOURCE TO..) to specific resource file.
