Yeah, I know, wishful thinking. MS would much rather force the VFPers into bigger money stuff like MSDN annual subscriptions, and even more significantly, force all the VFPers customers into SQL server licensing. Cha-Ching!

I think what I'll miss the most out of VFP is the VFP community. There is a lot of sharing and openness. It seems to me that all the other MS languages suffer from DON'T COPY ME syndrome, as though every freaking line of code is a trade secret. Maybe it's not as bad as I imagine, but I can unreservedly assert that I've always been helped (nearly instantly) here on the UT.
