>To do that, I guess I'll have to change some things. In the past, I've instatiated CAs outside a form. In this case, I have the CA in the DE of a form, so I can't really open it in the class browser and create a prg. What's the best way to do this? Build a separate CA that I can then place on the form? Can I build a VCX-based CA without putting it in a DE? I don't work with CAs extensively, so I'm a little fuzzy on these things.

Personally I always use a prg based cursoradapter class. The PRG eliminates some of the eccentricities of the VCX property sheet and is easy to use. Normally I instantiate the cursoradapter as a property of a form.
