I was having trouble initially creating the class: when I did "New Class", and then was prompted for the parent class, I was unable to select an ActiveX control. I ended up choosing a container and placing the control in the container.

The "Save as class" option seems to give me the mechanics for eliminating the bogus container I was creating.

>There's no difference between saving an activex control from a form as a class or creating an olecontrol class that contains your activex control. The base class for both of them is still the VFP olecontrol.
