I must respectfully disagree with you but the stored procedure vs ad hoc query debate has been going on for years now and it will for several more. I don't think we could possibly say anything for or against it that has already been said about 10 bazillion times. As with all things i guess it works out to what works best for you. In this i prefer the stored procedure approach but there is certianly room in the world for those of you refusing to convert to the true faith. =P
