I know what my company is doing. We are done with putting our future into Microsoft products and development tools. We are working on Open Source development suites for all major platforms. No MSFT only tools will be allowed, period.

We are setting up new Linux and Macintosh platforms as well. We will make products that work on Windows, but not with windows developer tools, only tools that will generate windows compatible code.

We will continue to provide support for our existing VFP clients, but will be moving them toward the applications developed on the alternative platforms as soon as possible. We will also began to push Linux for them.

Linux will work on their older hardware and Vista won't so they like that anyway.
