I say learn them both. That's what I've been doing. That way you can find out first-hand which parts of each you like. And, as mentioned already, your project can include both. You can code a class in C# and use it or even subclass it in VB and vice-versa.

I really think you'll find that the most difficult part to learn is the framework itself, not just the language.
