>Based on what I saw during the Summit, VB.net will ROCK. The team is working on some stuff for after Orcas that is way cool and expands on things in VFP.

>>It worked! I hoped to get you to open up about your feelings on this because I know I feel somewhat like a relative has been told they have terminal cancer. At the same time, I am a realist and I understand market share, etc. Another good thing is that people like you, Calvin and other Fox types are in a position to help with LINQ and the future technologies. I think we're all counting on you to make dot net VFP.net or something like that (granted in stealth mode). I also agree about the product and the community. We have all been blessed to be able to contribute to the product and each other. You and Ken and all the other past members of the Fox team are held in high esteem. I'll never forget Dr Dave giving the modi comm *.prg demo at the first Devcon. I knew then that great things were to come!

I too hope that VB.NET (9) picks up where the Fox left. If Calvin (and friends) can achieve that, what an accomplishment!
