Here in Argentina (and also Uruguay) the VFP community is quite reasonable, but there were no mention in the media that I know of. Many people here is still supporting and even enhancing FPD apps, so even while there was the inevitable turmoil in the forums, I don't really think much has changed.

I'm sure that many people will keep making a living out of VFP. Many companies I did consulting for were still using older versions of VFP or were using VFP 9 but without taking advantage of much of the new functionality, so I'm sure they'll do fine.
