Please don't confuse my comment as a sweeping condemnation of VB.Net. It is just a comment which is true along with the comment made by Kevin. There are many techniques which we (VFP) developers take for granted every day which are onerous in .Net. I also must belive that there will be spectacular improvements in VB.Net which will make us more prodcutive. However, like FPD/FPW/VFP I suspect there will be a natural and hopefully rapid progression of language/IDE which will allow me and others to quote prices to our clients equivalent to those we quoted in VFP.
