>There is a leak in the boat. Not that it will sink like the titanic. It is very likely it will float for quit some years, but now the captain has officially left the boat. The time will come the coocks will leave too, so you will have to do your own coocking. The orchestra will leave too, so you will have to do your own singing, so will do the rest of the crew and travelers. I hope you leave in time, because it might get dark and lonely there at the bottom of the sea ...

I have read meny posts here by early NET birds, and except for handfull of fairly analysed/informative ones done by guys like RickS,DavidS and few others, the rest of them are mostly perceived as nothing but annoying buzz..

So we have;

A) People which are eigter affiliated to MS, or belong to articles/books or NET training session delivery business - in which case motives are understandable / all completely fine with me. Business is bussines. These are
actually something worth reading, as is mostly done by very knowledgeable people. So You can read within & between the lines.

B) By people who saw 'Writing on the wall' or 'distant light' and then bought & bite that banana way to early, so now they are choking
on daily bases, with things which were so easy just yesterday with VFP.
Understandably they are taking out all that frustration at *str8* fox guys (still easily crunching their meals) by calling them laggards, stone age people etc... on this and perhaps other forums.

C)
And then there are 'smart' ones, who have mouth full of NET, but YET
they make most of their bread&butter with VFP while using few
'Potemkin willage' NET banner apps so they can declare themself as
latest technology NET shop.

D) Then we have human waist category, who will use demise of VFP to
actually aggravate as much of VFP people possible, just for sake of it. Being driven by nothing else but their jack-a** character.

I work in shipping, we deal with real ships. They are all sort of ships.
You hire one that can best fit your cargo, while costs are permiting for
profits to be made. If you hire to big you loose, if you hire to small
you loose. There is ALWAYS another ship available, but believe me VFP is anything but a wreck. Last 'sister vessel' is only few years old, with ongoing maintenance.

Talking about Titanic, it is way to big to bear any resemblance with VFP.
Where did you see candles, shiny lobbys, shrimp buffets, orchestras and such stuff ? Are you sure you are talking about fox ???
VFP is more of a midsize, reliable, general-cargo vessel. Nothing to do with Titanic. Unlike Titanic, still have plenty of profitable voyages ahead.
