Not so much, really. Of course, if you have say 512 MB and you want to allocate 256 Mb for the Virtual PC, you'll have less memory available to the physical one. For most VFP apps you don't need a lot of memory, and in any case, if the application is critical, increasing RAM is not that expensive now. I know -if you have thousands of clients it may be... < BG>
