>>>Karl Rove (and others) to be available for congressional interviews
>>>
>>> "Such interviews would be private and conducted without the need for an oath, transcript, subsequent testimony or the subsequent issuance of subpoenas".
>>>
>>>Does that mean that they can say whatever they please (who needs the truth) and the interview will not be documented? Sounds like a good opportunity for something.

>>I saw this news story too and had a similar reaction. The almighty Karl Rove, whose fingerprints are all over everything the Bush administration should be ashamed of, cannot be questioned under oath, says Dubya. The audacity of the Senate!
>>
>>They really do think they're above the law.

>They think that they are the law. That is why the US Attorney General is there, to uphold the law and do what ever GWB wants. :)
