Ok, then, but I am certain that someone else came up with the patch first, and even this MS patch may well have been the same one, OEM's by MS. But I guess the main point is that MS did make it available, whether the fix was theirs or not, and that's a good thing in itself.

He released a PRG file that took the foxprow and fpw2600.esl files and patched them. If I remember correctly Microsoft put a link from their Knowledge Base to the 3rd party patch.
