To store the image, I have the user save the JPG file in a certain folder on the shared drive.
Then, they go to the application, and type or select - i.e,
getfile() - the filename from disk. When the user selects a filename, the application stores the filename into a character field that is supposed to store the filename.
To show on a form, an Image control is used. Personally, I set the .Picture property every time the user changes to another record. I didn't try setting the .Picture directly to a field name; it might work.
For a report, use the report Picture control, and set either the "File" or the "Field" property I don't remember for sure which - to the field that contains the filenames.
