YAG was asked about hot fixes by the MVPs. He replied that a FoxPro email alias will still exist inside Microsoft and people will be monitoring it. If a particular problem arises that requires a hotfix, it will be addressed. However, he did not address how that hot fix would be distributed or made available. My assumption is that it will be through Customer Support Services, as they are doing now. He did not address costs as that varies depending on several things such as your MSDN license type, what support packages your company purchases, etc. It is also possible that prices will change between now and when VFP goes into Extended Support.

As for the FPW fast Pentium problem...that was fixed by the community before MS posted the fix. YAG was clear that the community could do the same thing for issues that may come up.

>What i've read from a dutch link (I do not have the exact link here), that hotfixes under certain conditions will be available to companies having some kind of agreement with Microsoft until 2015.

>I certainly would think so that those hotfixes if applicable for all VFP9 developers it would go publically. After all could you explain what happened with the FWP 2.6 fix for 'fast' pentium. The product was totally unsupported by then.

>IOW, I have serious doubts of what has been claimed here.
