David you should then look to Thread #1095862 in there Ken Levy states that will never be a VFPOLEDB 64Bits driver, so you will not be able to use it in a 64Bits .net app for example.

>>I was really more commenting on the fact that I really like my 64bit Vista setup. But anyway: There is no 64 bit OLEDB driver for VFP, nor are there any plans to build one. You can only run the OLEDB driver in combatibility mode.

>Yep, I don't expect a 64-bit VFP driver, but wanted to be sure we're not assuming more issues than are really there.

>>As for the other database things: I am not able to run a 32 bit version of SQL Server (which is noteworthy, because I can run other 32 bit apps), so I have to run the 64 bit version.

>Hmm, that's interesting. Does that apply also to DTS packages (or whatever they are called now) that talk to VFP data? Can 64-bit Integration Services packages still talk to VFP data? If so, how so?

>Looks like lots to research on this point. I'll look into it further when I get a chance. Thanks for raising the potential issue so we can check it out...
