I don't see evidence of a gap (yet). When have you ever known anyone in government to work around Thanksgiving? The real question is were all of the parties involved in the emails working then? Typically congress and the administration and most government bodies dissappear during the holidays for a couple of weeks. It is amazing how little they actually work.
