I use to export to Excel in xls xml format. Then, this file can be opened in Excel. However, the client now wants to have this in XLS binary. To my understand, only OLE automation would be able to achieve that. I just don't know how applying an XSL transformation would be able to generate such a file type other than XML. On the server, no office tool is there. So, how can someone obtain that?
