Set spybot to scan first after a reboot to check you PC for lurking bots before they are loaded in memory.

Do you use NoScript for Firefox? It's stops all scripts from web pages or enable only the ones you want. Also try AdBlock to block even images, pages or sites.

Try also AVG free in case it's some trojan.

>>1. Turn off Java and/or JavaScript execution in your browser. Many of these windows fire when J/JS code is embedded in a page as it renders. This might cause OTHER stuff not to run that you want -- if you're using Firefox, it's easy to turn on and off for the sites that you want it for. Also, you may wish to turn off images -- some J/JS code can accompany them as well.

These are VERY tricky to get rid of -- just removing them with Add/Remove Programs doesn't always work. You might get some help by Googling *some of the text of the window in quotes* and checking for ideas from folks that have been successful in removing it.

Speak using soft and sweet words in case you have to eat them later.
