>The Remote View doesn't go directly to a BROWSE window without me having to use the Select Database Dialog Window to first find the MDB database. This is crazy. This is also why I cannot stand MS ACCESS. Honestly I feel like giving up on this project. It's like having huge gloves on and can't feel what it is you are trying to grab in the dark. This is why I never cared to learn VB 6.0, because it meant working with garbage code and garbage databases. Okay, I am venting a bit here, but this is why Visual FoxPro is superior to these other products. Unfortunately, the real world demands that we use these things. And, no insult to Microsoft, but this is a much better database product than that company deserves. I wish someone else would buy it from Microsoft and continue to enhance it.

Did you try to follow "Accessing Remote Data with Views" step by step?

I haven't worked with Remote Views, so can not offer much help on the topic.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
