>>And history refutes your hope. People who are pacifists, who refuse to fight for their freedom, soon lose it. We are not a free country because others want us to be. We are a free country, paid for by the blood of the good men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I don't think the government needs to tell us what the official religion is, but I think part of the problem with our country today is the fact that people have tried to remove God from government. Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian values and even athiests want all the "in God we trust" they can get their hands on. All the courts open with a prayer, as do both houses of congress. There is a big difference in the government dictating how we worship, and allowing us to freely express our beliefs.
