>>Infragistics (DevExpress and others) is a great collection of components, which gives your applications instantly professional look and features. There are win and webforms components, controls, ready to be used.
>>You might visit their website (
www.infragistics.com) and check some of these functionalities... have a look at the "NetAdvantage for .NET" suite of controls.

Here's my take on this (about your "too much at the same time"). I don't know much about .net. in fact I'm in training right now. I have a dvd containing videos that teach me VB.net. By the way videos that you can get from
http://www.learnvisualstudio.netSo like I told you I don't know much about VS.net. Yesterday I created a new form. I defined a data source and I grabbed a grid tool from infragistics. There is a builder provided for it. So I thought "Hmm it should work like that" and it did.
And another thing. There are lots of samples provided (vb.net and c#)
So it's not that bad after all.
