I am planning to migrate Visual Foxpro application ( as we know no royalties paid for database/runtime ) to Winforms/C# + SQL Server Express 2005, if organization doesn't SQL Server 2000/2005 licence already with other application(s).
My application is mainly read-only reference system.
Am I right in thinking that we shouldn't expect performance penalties let's say for 20 simultaneous users ( which run only queries ) in case of conventional LAN or Citrix/Terminal Server given that application uses most of SQL Server Express 2005 can give us correctly ( properly architected in other words)
Also any legal issues with distributing free ( or not free ) applications with SQL Server Express 2005.
