Even if that were true, even in the darkest days of The Cold War, when the UK and Russia were performing tit-for-tat arrests of each other's citizens for alleged spying, practically monthly, they were not "spirited away" in this manner, and kept in secret locations. In the most part they were quickly expelled from the country. I guess these marines would like nothing better than to leave that benightred country.
