>I created a vfp report using a LaserJet 4L driver and the report works fine. When I port the application to a machine with a LaserJet 6P printer, the printer hangs when attempting to print the report. Is this a vfp problem or do I have something wrong with my system/hardware?
This just adds to what Ed Pikman said. Information about the default printer on the computer where a report is designed is stored in 3 fields of the first record of an FRX file. So open it as a table (USE MyReport.FRX) and blank out the EXPR, TAG and TAG2 fields. Look at the information in EXPR, however. If you are using Landscape or a non-default page length, be sure you leave THAT information intact.
It's a good practice to 'clean' these fields before distributing a report. Saves a LOT of tech support time :-)
