Title:
Encryption of fields in SQL
Environment versions
SQL Server:
SQL Server 2000
Hi all,
Someone just pitched a question to me about encryption. I know that Cryptor can be used for VFP tables for encrypting fields, files, indexes, etc. But is there some sort of equivalent for encrypting the actual data as stored in SQL Server? So data is stored scrambled in the database, but normal during the reading and reporting to user for editing.
Thanks
