Firstly, you should be a member of certain religious organization to get in this situation.

>I don't count that because many religios organizations restrict their members from reading certain materials (or even refuse to buy certain goods and/or services et al). I totally disregard such directives and always will. IMHO, anyone who does not read something solely because it is forbidden, deserves to be ignorant (and probably will remain so). Besides, if someone, anyone, tells me I cannot read something, well, that is the very first thing I will read. :o)

The many faces of the U.S.... Now as to subversive information against the U.S. (and how to make weapons that could be used against the U.S. et al) that is a different story and the FBI watches that closely.

Pressure can only be applied to a business, if business feels that most of it's customers belong to and will listen to the leader of the religious organization.

>>>>>>Y'know, this situation can bring remarkable publicity to both sides if the retail outlet refuses to remove the item and gets the media involved. Then crowds come to see what the fuss is about and many books are sold. The retailer profits by the limited scope of the protest.
