The Memphis player was the same knucklehead who spent the last several minutes of the previous game on the bench is a wifebeater T shirt after fouling out. I don't recall ever seeing a player remove their jersey while the game was still going on.

You will note that the final 4 teams come from the SEC, Big East, Big 10, and Pac 10. They have been proving themselves against quality opponents (each had the best record in their conference) since the first of the year, not the first of March.

>>>True, I doubt he is a math major. However, we are supposed to have an even better team next year according to ESPN and other sources. We've got a junior college transfer coming and three or four other studs. Calipari is doing an excellent job. I'm happy with our team getting this far, this year, especially after losing three starters last year. That says a lot about Calipari's coaching and his recruiting as well.

>>I have heard Calipari's name linked to the Iowa coaching position, but that might have just been somebody blabbing. I have also heard Bruce Pearl and Majerus also.

>>What did the Memphis player say about OSU? I must have missed that one.

>Joey Dorsey of Memphis must not have noticed all the reporters, microphones, and cameras at the pregame press conference on Friday. He called Greg Oden overrated and himself underrated. He predicted he would dominate Oden in the game. He likened them to David and Goliath. (Oden, who seems to have a sly sense of humor for a kind of scary looking guy, said between the press conference and the game that he seemed to remember that David won that battle). Box score: Oden, 17 points and 9 rebounds; Dorsey, no points and 3 rebounds. And an Ohio State victory.

I think that Big Ten basketball is headed into a good direction. Tubby Smith to Minnesota, Alford OUT of Iowa (and from the rumors of who is interested in the job, we might land a good coach), I would be surprised if Michigan did not land a big time coach... Maybe we can win the ACC challenge for once.
