I encountered that problem when I used VFP 5 under Windows NT (with Service Pack 3). I looked at the Event Viewer, Dr Watson, error 4097 with something like f000005, access violation, etc.

I tried working under Windows 95. I did not encounter said problem.

I still prefer to work using Windows NT and do hope you can solve this problem.
