Thank you for your information on the VFUG & UT upgrading.
BTW, how could you guys receive the messages and not myself?

As I'm now developing my first VFP application and have some
problems which I can't solve. Maybe you could help me?
1) I created a few text boxes and specified the ControlSource
properties to associated with the table fields. In other words,
when the program is executed, the form will display a record
at a time when a Next/Previous Record button is pressed.
2) I need to append a new record, so I created a "New" command
button with Click event having APPEND BLANK command
and followed by the REPLACE....WITH..... steps.
An error message appeared saying something like "Uniqueness
of record violated..." or something that unable me to append
a new record.
3) Is this due to the ControlSource property which I have pointed
to the Table fields and the it think I'm appending the same key
field which I think the Value still store the old data? But I
have seen the VFP Traders sample program which allows to
view record and at the same time append a new record by
changing the key field. Pls advise.

BTW, what these two statement do when executed
a) thisform.ActiveControl.ControlSource
b) thisform.ActiveControl.Value

Or any other suggestion that would help to resolve the problems.
