Hi Jim,

Thanks for responding. I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I have noticed that on the users machines there are huge tmp files being created when I run this query. For instance, the example query should only return 5 records ( a couple of kb's) and the tmp file is 50,000 kb. This is killing me!! I'm going bonkers, and my not so patient users are beating down my door. Can you explain in a little more detail what you mean about the temp files.
