Hi,

Created an Exe on my development PC and can run it without problems. Copying the EXE to my production machine, which does not have VFP installed, but has the Runtime Libraries in the same folder as the EXE, I can run it without problems. However, copying it to another PC, again without VFP but with the Runtime Libraries in the default directory, the program fails with an "Invalid path or filename" error.

To try and narrow down the possibilities, I created a simple, one line program, Messagebox([Hello World],0), built an Exe out of that, copied it to the problem PC and tried to launch it. I was greeted with the same "Invalid Path or Filename".

Any thoughts as to what is going on here? Could something be awry in the PC's environment variables that might be messing with this EXE?

Also of interest, both Exe's seem to not like the fact that there wasn't a Config.Fpw file in the default directory. Complained about something like "Invalid Config or Bad Path?". So I created a one liner config.fpw (screen = off) and that error went away. However, I am still confronted with the aforementioned problem.

Unfortunately, due to company policy, I have a very limited Internet access and UT is not on the approved list. So I will have to check here after work.

TIA
Vince
