>A week ago Saturday, I became short of breath and collapsed twice. Both times I came back. Since I felt better afterwards, I did not go to the doctor until last Tuesday. Seems I had a blod clot in my leg (most likely happened while on the flight returning from a mission trip to Panama) and the blod clot partially released and went to my lungs.

I certainly do remember that breakfast and just about everything else about that DevCon. Those four or five days were among the most enjoyable of my life. Not only did I meet so many of the FoxGang in person for the first time, there was the excitement of VFP 3 being launched. (And breaking some people's eardrums with that bomb or whatever it was at the beginning of the keynote (lol). I was sitting next to Stuart Somerville and he was practically blasted out of his seat in surprise). It was a gorgeous morning. Just being able to eat breakfast outside in the sunshine was pretty cool for those of us who had flown in from more wintry locations.

I am glad you are OK after the blood clot scare. You were pretty lucky it didn't get caught in your heart instead or you might not be here talking with us. Or maybe you believe someone was looking out for you. Either way, it's great that it didn't have your number on it.

What sort of mission were you on? I know you do a lot of volunteer stuff through your church. Good for you!

Speaking of JimB, do you ever see him or are you in different parts of Connecticut? I see him here once in a while but have not seen him in person in eons. Definitely one of my favorite people.
