>>>Didn't Peter install Vista before 2003? That might be causing the problem, as I believe you are supposed to install the newest operating system last.

>>>I really need to get a copy of Vista. I am starting to feel left out. My dad wants to get a new laptop, but all we can find are laptops with Vista pre-installed. I haven't used it, so I don't know if I can help him out with it over the phone when he needs it.

>>Think you should go for it... First I installed Vista as a dual boot, in a machine tha had XPPro. And as Craig mentioned, just had to ask Vista to install in a second partition and watch.
>>Kept that for a couple of months. Then I formated the HD and installed Vista on it alone. Afterwards, installed the Virtual PC 2007, which runs fine on Vista, and had a XPPro installed on it.
>>In Vista, I have Fox26 (don't laugh), VFP9, and Visual Studio with all .NET stuff. They've been all living very well together.

Hi Denis.

Yes, I've just tried one of the samples (bear.wmv) that come with Vista and it run well. It's Windows Media Player 11 here.
