...however, having myself taken piano lessons for about 13 years I don't think that learning how to play one online is going to be very effective - you really need a pro sitting with you. Learning to read the music and such is one thing - but actually playing the thing is another. If a teacher is any good they're NOT going to be doing it for free either. Plus what kind of lessons are they talking about? "group" lessons are worthless if you ask me - and private 1 on 1 lessons are not cheap if the teacher knows what they're doing.
