'Destroying' in the sense that they are actively trying to accomplish that... No, I don't think MS is trying that. But it may indeed eventually be the outcome of what they've decided. One of the thoughts that came to mind was: Do they have the
moral right to decide to stop further development
without consulting the community and companies who have invested in that product?!! My personal opinion is: NO.
And I'm still awaiting the answers from YAG to my request for the reasons that drove them.
