I don't really think they have much cause for concern. VB is MS's bread and butter and it's not going anywhere. I think they see VB 6 and VB 5 as small incremental upgrades and are getting disappointed that things they've been asking for aren't showing up in the product. There is a gloat of VB programmers right now though, and at least around here, VB isn't all that popular in the want ads, probably not anymore popular than VFP.
