Maybe your question is answered directly further down in the thread but "NDA" stands for non-disclosure agreement. It has a couple of different meanings. The one Craig meant is a document people sign before being shown information (often software) that isn't public yet, promising not to disclose it. Another meaning is a document new employees sign before beginning a job (legally it needs to be signed before starting the job) acknowledging that they will not disclose the company's trade secrets and so forth. There are state by state variations here in the U.S. but typically NDAs must be limited in both time and geographic location to be legally enforceable.
