>I've got a few forms with a lot of controls, and muddling through them and related metadata I found it quite easy to write builders for anything I wanted when I had a control selected and needed to get from there to metadata. I had all the properties of the object at hand, and could seek, insert, update etc from there.

I'm sitting on a metadata record, and it's no problem at all to write yet another builder to get a reference to any control I want, based on a couple of properties (like controlsource). But when I switch back to the editing window, there's no way to have that found control selected, and its PEMs showing in the PEM window. I know I could just display the PEMs of the reference... but why should I, when we have the PEM window.

Dragan,
You can setfocus() to select a single object.
