During my hurricane handwriting binge, I noticed that after only ten minutes of writing, my hand remembered the routine. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to read that later - and I used to be very versed at reading "crow's legs" (as we call bad handwriting) when I was teaching and had to grade all those tests. Could have qualified for a pharmacist.
