Well, since you got some negative reactions to this post, I think I should state that I agree with you; specifically, the following part seems quite relevant:
The drive ... was that, to me, 'not a strategic product' is a conclusion rather than a reason.But I doubt we will get more detailed information, about MS's motivation.
