That is amazing that you wrote that. That exact scenario ocurred in my house this year as well! Talk about frustration. My daughter worked for two weeks on a paper and went to print it the night before and the printer just DIED. I have another printer but it was out of ink. It was unbelievable. She got a zero though and the teacher just looked at the disk and said "What am I supposed to do with that?" I'm sure Haley had something in mind, but luckily she is respectful to her teachers and didn't voice it. :o) The teacher wouldn't even listen to her explanation - in 20 years she has probably heard it all a dozen times at least. Two years ago Haley worked on a paper and in the morning before school our boxer actually DID EAT IT. He had it shredded all over the kitchen and pieces hanging out of his mouth. She had just got it out to verify everything was in order, set it down on the kitchen table, walked into the bathroom, and when she came out, SURPRISE. She didn't even bother trying to explain that one. Who would believe it?
