I tend to agree about temp relationships. I also like to try to use visual designers where possible. That's why I'd like to set the relation visually in the designer.

>>Can I create a relation (non-programatically) in the data environment of the form designer between 2 views? I am able to do this when the target is a table with a primary key, but when the target is a view, I am unable to do it.

>You can use SET RELATION command to set temp relationship programmatically. However, it requires that child cursor is indexed, so you should firstly index your view and then set this relationship, if it's really good for you (personally, I don't like temp relationships).
