>>>Actually, I find Bush too liberal. He talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. Did you see Iran violating the Geneva convention - parading prisoners with blindfolds in front of the cameras?
>>
>>Technically, and using the same spiteful excuses your country uses, they are not at war, so there are no war prisoners therefore you can not apply the Geneva convention.
>>
>>Let me guess, next you will complain Iran tortures prisoners.

>Hmmm, isn't that what they said we were doing with the waterboarding? Yes, I think they torture prisoners, but I think that is ok. I don't believe in "rules of engagement". Once you commit to killing the other side, there should only be one rule. Rules of engagement are something made up by the more "civil" people, you know the ones who don't have to risk their rear ends on the front lines. If I'm going to get shot at and rish being captured and tortured, then I think I should pretty much be allowed to implement a scortched earth policy. If we had done that in Vietnam and in this skirmish, they would have been over a long time ago.

Nuked "them"? Nuked who? Where exactly should we have dropped the bombs on 9/12? If you say Iraq you have definitely been drinking the Kool Aid.

As far as your desire for a no-holds-barred form of warfare, just realize you are flying in the face of international rules of war agreed upon for decades. We are the first civilized nation to try to chuck those rules and agreements out the window. It doesn't make me proud to be an American. Do not take that as unpatriotic, because I'm not. We just should be behaving better than these clowns in office now want us to behave.

One thing I always agreed with Ronald Reagan about -- OK, so there weren't a lot of them ;-) -- is that we should be the kind of country the rest of the world looks up to and respects. That sure isn't true at the moment.
