Talking of webcams: I have a Creative which I got years ago, with its own s/w, orig. cos I was to telework from the office at home. I've never used it 'cept to take the odd snap (no-one's ever asked me to play :-), and I didn't have broadband till last summer). Does the person you webcam chat with have to have the same or compatible eqpt / s/w or should they all interface in theory? The manual that came with it talked of the other party having the same webcam, s/w and i/f.

As I said, I'd like to put it to some use but I haven't had the contacts to experiment with - maybe my cousin in Canada has one so I could keep in touch with her via. I've never given it much thought till recently.

Oh, and sorry, good job on getting round to updating the pic anyway. You don't look too happy though :-)

>That's an extra room which contains my desk and exercise equipment and a bunch of boxes I never unpacked of nicknacks and stuff. Never bothered to do much else with it because I mostly use my laptop at home and only use the pc now for bills. My daughter has her own pc too so she is never on it.

>>Aye, and although it's nice to see your study you could crop that out :-)

>>>I didn't realize that until it actually posted. The original size wasn't blurry. Took it with a webcam this morning. Didn't have much time so I didn't pay a whole lot of attention. After resizing it and seeing it posted, I can see it is blurry. I'll try again this weekend :o)
