012973I'm pretty sure the people at the MVP program don't care about that. Indeed, it happened to me in the past someone at Microsoft made a comment about me showing too much Open Source and Java stuff in my presentations. The people from the MVP program told this person that this is what we MVPs are supposed to do. They care about what you contribute to the Microsoft community, no matter if you disagree with Microsoft policies or if you also use or promotes other technologies.
People like Angel "Java" López (this is his name since many years ago) or Ted Neward come to mind.
Of course I recognize that some people need they have to defend Microsoft position because they are MVPs. But as far as my experience goes, this is a personal decision, and it doesn't count to get awarded again.
