VFP is not a "strategy product". That means a lot of things, one of them "That product does not mean money for M$". But let us take a look to my case:

Some years ago, my Little company (I'm the only programmer) bought VFP 7 for US650.00 approximately and bought VFP8 and VFP9 upgrade for US$350.00, we invested in VFP US$ 1,350.00 That means nothing to Microsoft. We developed Intermedical Soft (www.intermedicalsoft.com) a Medical Practice Management Software with 260 licenses sold until now (that means 260 Windows's licenses sold, some offices licenses sold). Some of them had installed the secretary's software (55 licenses, means 55 windows's licenses). We have 16 Clinical Laboratories customers and 45 Comercial Applications; that means windows, some offices an some Sql Server licences.

I'm a only programmer, who invested US$ 1,350.00 in vfp and generated all those sales to MS, I'm only one, and I can't believe that VFP is not an Strategy Product.

Many of my customers buy Microsoft's Produts because I recommend MS softwares. Because my applications run on MS applications. What about if I move to Linux's Word?
